16 May LA Signal Lab Launch!

For the past 5 months, I’ve had the pleasure of working on a new piece “coalesce”, that calls into question the idea of genre. It freely mixes elements of “classical”, “jazz”, “avant-garde”. The piece was written for a brand new composer/performer collective called LA Signal Lab, co-founded by Nick DePinna, Noah Meites, Hitomi Oba, and myself.

Our first concert was last night at Curve Line Space in Eagle Rock, and it was one of the most satisfying musical events in my life.
